Our average turnaround time for a normal case is around 115 minutes, and a STAT case is usually done within 14. We track these metrics monthly and strive to keep them as low as possible.

Why should I consider using GLOBIS’s PACS?

We have a provider agreement with several PACS providers, who are leaders in web based PACS and RIS (Radiology Information System). Rather than purchasing a PACS with substantial up front costs compiled with IT personnel, continuous software and hardware upgrades and user dissatisfaction, we provide our exceptional on-line solution with these PACS providers. This will provide you with a fully functioning user friendly PACS solution at very affordable, pre-negotiated rates. A small fee is charged per exam giving access to an easy to use and fast viewing platform. Redundant storage is also provided with no need for IT personnel or software/ hardware upgrades.

What is the process of switching from our old PACS to GLOBIS’s PACS?

The process of switching from your old PACS to GLOBIS’s PACS is setting up an interface to push your old images to the new PACS. We would install links to access your new PACS on all computers as needed. You would then have access to your images whenever and wherever needed.

One must have their CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine camera accredited by one of the 3 accrediting bodies. These are the ACR, (American College of Radiology), the Joint Commission, and the Inter Societal Commission of CT and MR laboratories. We will guide your organization through this process, working hand in hand with your designated administrator or technologist, in a step by step approach to your accreditation. Remember, in order to be reimbursed, you must be accredited. One must also make sure that the group providing the interpretations must participate in a Peer Review/ Quality Assurance review.
